Blubster is a peer-to-peer file sharing client that makes it easy to find and download all kinds of files, may they be videos, images, music files or applications.
Its main characteristics are the simplicity of its interface and the efficiency in finding the exact files that you need, thanks to the fact that it takes advantage of the reliable Manolito P2P (MP2P) network.
As mentioned above, it comes with a simple, neat and intuitive interface that makes it easy to search for files and download the found ones. A lot of additional features and functions are also provided, including the possibility of creating “buddy lists” with other Blubster users that share the same interests with you, the support for pausing and resuming the downloads, the advanced search function that features filtering capabilities, and many more. A big plus is, in my opinion, the fact that it also lets you preview and play the multimedia files. Furthermore, creating playlists with music files is also possible.
Last but not least, the download speed is surprisingly satisfactory. My past experiences taught me that the download speed is not exactly a strong point of P2P file sharing clients, but that’s not the case with Blubster.
On the other hand, regardless of its many advantages and handy features, Blubster can be terribly annoying. The standard, free version of this file sharing client will continuously open ads in Internet Explorer, minutely, for as long as you keep it running. That makes it almost unbearable on the systems with low resources, as it can open tens or hundreds of separate Internet Explorer windows over time. And that’s truly regretful in my opinion, as otherwise Blubster is a really nice tool.
